The family of Charles Orson Law & his wife, Signa Sophia Wing, the daughter of Dr. Joseph Smith Wing and Sophia Anena Bohne. The year is probably about 1912 - 1914. The only identification of anyone is written on the photograph... Many thanks to Orvel Law Reichert for this and the other contributions that he has so willingly and generously shared with all of us. The years were not necessarily kind to Sophia, her grandson, Orvel Law Reichert says that his grandmother complained of having "dropsy." This photograph of Charles Orson Law & Sophia Signa Wing Law was taken in 1939. Sophia died a year after this picture was taken on May 25, 1940. Charles died March 21, 1944. |
The grown, living children of Charles Orson Law and Signa Sophia Wing Law...taken in 1944...probably when their father died.
Time does march on...and supposedly heals all wounds. The children of Charles and Signa Sophia Wing Law blessed them with many children and now those children are grandparents and great grandparents themselves. |
