At this writing we do not know who Margaret Robidoux was born to. We do know that she was French and it is said that she was born in France. We do know that when she married Isaac Davis, she and presumably her family, were living in or around Chateaquay, Quebec, Canada.
Margaret was Isaac's 2nd wife, she married him on February 19, 1820 in Quebec. Margaret was 22 years old when she married the 45 year old father of 8. His 1st wife, Mercy Rachel Rogers, died July 10, 1818, just about 2 1/2 years after her youngest child was born.
Margaret seemingly assumed the roles of wife, mother & housekeeper without difficulty, giving birth to her 1st child, Mary (Polly) Davis, on July 8, 1820, not quite 5 months after she married Isaac Davis.
