I very recently heard from Orvel Law Reichert who is the great grandson of Dr. Joseph Smith Wing and his 7th wife, Sophia Anena Bohne. He sent the following pictures and information for us to share and enjoy. Thank you Orvel!

Sophia Anena Bohne was born August 8, 1851 at Copenhagen, Denmark. The daughter of Magnus Carl Frederick Bohne & Helsine Hjetling, Sophia married Dr. Joseph Smith Wing on February 17, 1866 in Utah. She was Dr. Wing's 7th wife, (his 4th plural).

Some 21 years younger than her husband, Sophia was only 14 years old when she married the 36 year old Dr. Wing. She joined 3 other women in her husband's household; Sarah Adelia Wright Strang, Elizabeth Marshall and Mary Josephine Allen.

Sophia blessed Dr. Wing with 3 children; Signa Sophia Wing on June 5, 1867, Frederick William Wing on June 25, 1870 and Hugh Bohne Wing on March 15, 1873.

What follows is the family group sheet for Signa Sophia Wing and her husband, Charles Orson Law. Signa was the oldest child of the union between Signa Sophia Bohne and Dr. Wing. This was sent to us by Orvel Law Reichert, with our thanks.

Signa Sophia Wing, born June 5, 1867 at Springcity, Sanpete, Utah, died May 25, 1940 at Springville, Utah, Utah. She married Charles Orson Law on January 25, 1885 at Springville, Utah, Utah. Charles was born November 30, 1858 at Springville, the son of Charles Law and Elizabeth Bocock. Charles died on March 21, 1944 at Brentwood, Contra-Costra, California.
