As I begin this journey about Joseph Smith Wing, I find that it has developed a personna of it's own. There are times that I don't even feel like I am the one
writing this. I have actually had the feeling of being mentally nudged to reconsider certain events. I have experienced "serendipity" before but this is a completely different experience. I don't know who is doing the nudging or if I am being nudged by many.
The point is, this history will change as documents are found, as old facts reveal themselves, as events long forgotten are retrieved from the dusty drawers in the basements of courthouses. Several people have made this possible. The largest contributor to this site has been Jane & Ross Bonney. In fact, Jane has sent along so much that she has discovered over the last few years that it would be a sin for me not to share her information. I am sharing it in the best format I know at this time. If this project has merit and if a desire is expressed by many, it is possible that we can look into having it printed. I just want it to be in the best form possible with as much documentation as possible. Those of you that find this that are descended from Joseph Smith Wing and one of his wives, I do hope you will contact me. If you have information to share about JSW or any of his siblings, children, wives, please do share it. I hope you will share your family information as well so that we have as many of his descendants listed as possible. Pictures, documents, letters, anything that might pertain to this project are greatly welcomed. Like I said, this site is evolving almost independent of me.
