Back again! Looks like I'm from the William Nash & Sarah Jenkins lineage. What a brilliant site this is! Absolutely brilliant finding my maternal ancestry and realising that some of us haven't actually gone very far over the generations. I often take my boys camping in Forest of Dean (Tiddenham Chase). My great auntie Enfys maiden name was Nash. She had a sister called Christine who moved to Bristol when she married Charles Harrington (second husband). First husband was Herbert Mervyn Smith. They lived in Blackwood/Oakdale in south wales. Christine Nash was my mums mother. My mother was called Linda Smith & I think she had a sister called Carol, both from first marriage to Herbert. Would love to here from any relations.

I am descended from Elizabeth Nash, who was born at, or near, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, U.K. in approximately 1844. She married Henry Handley a carpenter.
They lived in and around the Marylebone/Paddington areas of Middlesex/London U.K. and they had at least 8 children, whose names I believe were as follows.
I am not absolutely certain about their birth dates and the order in which they were born.
Herbert Henry Handley born approximately 1868,
Henry Victor Handley born approximately 1870,
Charles Hector Handley born approximately 1872, George Frederick Handley born approximately 1874,
William Francis Handley born approximately 1878,
Edith Sarah Handley born approximately 1875,
Lucy Marion Handley, who married a man whose surname may have been Ward.
Alfred Edward Handley, born approximately 1880 who married Mary Elizabeth Talbot.
