This happy, beautiful baby girl can now be identified as Margery Elaine Razey, the daughter of Albert Razey and Gladys Miller Razey. Gladys would be the daughter of Mary Nash Miller and Thomas Miller.
Gladys might have been the only surviving child of the union between Mary & Thomas. All we know is that Mary died in childbirth and quite possibly the infant died as well. We find in the census of 1930 at Kittitas, Ellensburg, Washington, Albert M. Razey, 29, Gladys M. Razey, 28, Margery E. Razey, 8 and Gladys E. Razey, 2 1/2. In that census it tells us that Gladys was born in Canada and that her mother was English and that her father was Scottish. On Ancstry.com we find the family tree of Robert Hunt who gives us some information about Albert Marvin Razey...but not too much about Gladys. See that tree I like to think that Gladys and her young daughter gave Charlotte comfort in her later years after losing her youngest daughter at such a tender age. Obviously the family stayed close, or perhaps Charlotte raised Gladys...either way, thanks to George Wayne Nash Jones we finally have found out more about Mary Nash Miller. If anyone has any further information, please share it with us... |
