Thomas K. Miller and Mary Nash Miller

Contributed by George Wayne Nash Jones

How can you thank Wayne, Adrienne and Leighton for all of their kindness?

I don't believe I have ever experienced such generosity of spirit and time. Thanks to the them, we can now reach out and begin to know the Nash roots. We all owe them a great big thankyou.

Mary Nash Miller was born January 6, 1883, probably at East Dean, Gloucestershire, England, the youngest child of Jeremiah Nash and Charlotte Miles Nash. She was only 9 years old when she arrived at Ellis Island on the Majestic on October 10, 1895. What an exciting journey that must have been for the young girl. Mary Nash married Thomas K. Miller but at this time we do not know the date of their marriage. Young Mary would not live to see her 20th birthday. She died December 9, 1902. She died giving childbirth and she is buried at Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada. She already had one child; Gladys Miller. We do not know if the 2nd child survived her.
