Dorothy May Goodpasture, born April 19, 1905 to Thomas Jefferson Nash and Ada Florence Rucker. Dorothy died on September 5, 1958 at Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois at the age of 53 years.

Dorothy was the youngest child born to Thomas J. Goodpasture and Ada Florence Rucker. Of the 5 children that they had, only 3 survived. Dorothy was about 14 years younger than her brother, Owen Goodpasture and about 11 years younger than her sister, Anneta Goodpasture Powell.

Dorothy would grow up to marry and have 14 children of her own...37 grandchildren...at least 58 great grandchildren and at last count, she had become the great-great grandmother of at least 16 children.
